Bitter Gourd Field Day

A Bitter Gourd Field Day will be held on 18th December 2021 at ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore, India to demonstrate the 2021 APSA-WorldVeg Vegetable Breeding Consortium exclusive lines. Only the 2021 Consortium Companies are eligible to attend this field day. The representatives of the 2021 consortium companies will be able to assess the seven better yielding bitter gourd hybrids of different market segments that are resistant to the local race of powdery mildew in Thailand and one hybrid that is resistant to the Tomato leaf curl New Delhi virus. The 2021 consortium companies who request these hybrids will be provided with their parental lines. The field trial of bitter gourd is funded by the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
