The 25th China International Agrochemicals and Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC) will be held from March 17th to 19th, 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, which is the world's largest expo of the agricultural materials industry. Last year, a total of 2,040 companies participated in the exhibition, covering full range of agricultural input sectors, including seed, machinery, fertilizer, and pesticideļ¼and etc., with an exhibition area of 140,000 square meters, and a total of 82,494 visitors from 124 countries and regions around the world.
China International Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Expo (AgTech) is one of the thematic exhibitions at CAC, during which a Seed Exhibition Zone is established by co-host CNSTA since 2019 as one of the most important parts specifically related to seed industry. Seed Zone has attracted many leading seed companies, such as Zhongyanyinong, Jewelry Seeds, Shandong Huasheng, Jianghuai Horticulture Seed, CNUS Seed etc to display their new varieties and new technologies, including rice, corn, watermelon and melon, vegetable, flower, sunflower, rapeseed, seed treatment technologies and etc. The seed section is continuing to grow and has become an important platform for oversea customers to seek partnership and new seed products in China.
During the exhibition, the ‘2025 Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Forum’ will be held and will focus on policy trends and technological development in various fields of modern seed industry. Many domestic and foreign experts and entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in the forum discussing scientific and technological innovation in the development seed industry, promoting seed trade and movement and international cooperation and exchanges in agriculture.
