Ajeet Seeds has played a significant role in producing and supplying quality hybrid seeds to farmers at affordable prices. Ajeet-11, a cotton hybrid introduced in 1992, is known for its seed quality and tolerance to both biotic and abiotic stresses. Ajeet-11 was followed by Ajeet-33, which offered distinguishing differences and attributes. Continued research led to the development of many hybrids in crops such as Jowar, Bajra, Maize, Sunflower, and Vegetables. The hybrid Bhendi Ajeet-311 was launched in 2002, followed by hybrids of Chilies, Brinjal, Tomato, Bottle Gourd, Bitter Gourd, and more.

Ajeet Seeds is the first private seed company to introduce a proprietary variety of wheat, Ajeet-102. Our progress continues to be robust and dynamic. Today, our product portfolio covers 22 crops and 55 different hybrid varieties.

Understanding the pivotal role of biotechnology in the seed industry, Ajeet Seeds established a dedicated research division—the Plant Biotechnology Research Center (PBRC)—in 2003, located in Hanumantgaon, Taluka Gangapur. The PBRC has been recognized as a research center by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.

The company has also established a State-of-the-Art laboratory, supported by a team of expert scientists, led by a veteran biotech expert. We are working on developing our own indigenous transgenic technology for crops, which will further accelerate our progress. Ajeet Seeds is committed to farm prosperity and is actively engaged in genetic research using crop biotechnology to improve the lives of Indian farmers. In line with this, we introduced three genetically modified Bt cotton hybrids in the Kharif season of 2006.

Ajeet Seeds Pvt. Ltd. (ASP L) welcomes delegates of the Asian Seed Congress for a focused one-day visit covering our research, biotechnology, Tissue culture, vegetable breeding, and seed processing capabilities. The Programme showcases our integrated seed value chain.

The tour will start with early morning breakfast. This will be followed by a visit to the Tissue Culture Facility, where we will explore micropropagation protocols, Quality control & contamination management at Hanumantgaon. Then continued by ASPL's Biotech Lab (PBRC) Tour- Molecular marker research, ELISA BT cotton testing & Genetic analysis workflows at Hanumantgaon. Followed by a visit to the Vegetable R&D center crop show at Imampur. At last, if time permits, we will visit the processing facility at Pharola.
