Meet APSA’s New Communications Officer: Spun Ngoensritong

BANGKOK, THAILAND – May 6, 2025 – The Asia and Pacific Seed Alliance (APSA) is pleased to welcome Ms. Spun Ngoensritong as the newest member of the secretariat; Ms Ngoensritong assumed the role of new Communications Officer for the Asia & Pacific Seed Alliance (APSA), effective May 2nd, 2025.

Ms. Ngoensritong brings a unique blend of creativity, storytelling, and cross-cultural experience to the APSA Secretariat, with a background spanning the arts, events, media, and academia. Her previous work includes coordinating exhibitions, leading editorial projects, and developing marketing content. It is anticipated that her addition to the APSA Communications team will further enhance the organization's capacity to deliver high-impact communications.

A Thai national, Ms. Ngoensritong has also studied and worked in New York, USA. She will be based at the APSA Secretariat office in Bangkok.

In her new capacity, Ms. Ngoensritong will focus on several key areas to bolster APSA's visibility and engagement with its members and partners. Her responsibilities will include:

  • Digital content creation: Developing engaging multimedia content and managing APSA’s social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Campaign management: Planning and executing social media campaigns, monitoring industry trends, and reporting on analytics.
  • Event marketing: Collaborating with APSA’s Events Manager to promote key events, including the flagship Asian Seed Congress.
  • Media relations: Preparing press releases, coordinating media inquiries, and fostering partnerships with press organizations.
  • Website optimization: Working with the ICT team to improve website content, structure, and SEO.

The APSA Communications team, now comprising Steven Layne and Ms. Spun Ngoensritong, will operate under the guidance of Executive Director Ms. Francine Sayoc. Together, they will work towards achieving APSA’s communications goals as outlined in the Strategic Roadmap 2025-2027.
