Dr. Venkata Subbarao Kolli is an agricultural business leader with over three decades of experience across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. A partner at Agvaya LLP, he advises and mentors in sustainable agriculture, seed technology, and rural development, supporting businesses and startups in the agri-food sector. With 32 years in operations, sales, marketing, production, R&D, and business management, he has led agribusinesses to market leadership in emerging markets.
He serves as an advisor and mentor across sectors including seeds, biologicals, textiles, carbon credits, computational biology, controlled environment agriculture, and farm robotics. His advisory roles include Grow Indigo, DeHaat, NSL Textiles, and VNR Seeds.
Dr. Kolli is a board member at PARYAN ALLIANCE (RiceTec–Mahyco JV) and S M Sehgal Foundation. He holds a BSc in Agriculture, MSc in Genetics & Plant Breeding, a Doctorate in Life Sciences, and management certifications from Deakin, Columbia, and HUNT Partners.
