Fabrice Mattei is a patent attorney and a partner with the IP law firm Rouse (www.rouse.com) where he heads the Patent Group. With a wealth of expertise spanning over two decades, he concentrates on patent protection and litigation within the Asian region, encompassing fields such as agricultural technology. He is a member of the Standing Advisory Committee before the European Patent Office (EPO) and a consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in matters concerning biodiversity. Fabrice is also a researcher on climate science at the University of Edinburgh's Carbon Innovation Center. He wrote his thesis on CRISPR-Cas9 and its impacts on climate change and biodiversity in relation to crops (University of Edinburgh, Faculty of Geosciences).
