Wenjuan Li

Dr. Li Wenjuan is the Deputy General Manager of the Technology and Solution Department of Sinochem Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. As the technical leader of MAP (Modern Agriculture Platform), she leads the team to provide full technical solutions to farmers, including: plant nutrition solution, plant protection solution, seed solution, irrigation solution, and agricultural machinery solution etc. She is committed to increase farmers’ income, improve industrial chain efficiency, and benefit consumers, and lead the development of modern agricultural technology innovation.

In 2017, Sinochem launched the Modern Agricultural Platform (MAP) based on China’s rural revitalization strategy and the development goals for agricultural and rural modernization. MAP developed a nationwide network of MAP service centers, MAP demonstration farms and a team of agronomists to focuses on developing, demonstrating, delivering, and promoting whole-process planting solutions that prioritize “good varieties & good practices & good field”. MAP’s mission is “grow quality crops, sell at a good price, collect valuable big data”. MAP is committed to creating value for customers, promoting supply-side reforms, unleashing land productivity, and helping agricultural modernization.

In terms of seed services, MAP has established its own adaptation system for seeds selection. Meanwhile, according to the characteristics of reginal climate and varieties, to research and development key technologies to increase seedling emergence rate and seedlings vigor, in order to form a solid foundation for high yield.
