BANGKOK: APSA joined Thailand seed, agriculture and media industry stakeholders to celebrate the Agricultural Mass Media Association of Thailand's 10th Anniversary at a Gala Dinner event on Sept 27 at Kasetsart University's Chakrabandhu Pensiri Hall. (Scroll down for photo gallery)
The APSA Secretariat, along with Asian Seed were among several key seed sector organizations represented as supporting organizations of the event, alongside the Thai Seed Trade Association, Chia Tai, East West Seeds and Pacific Seeds.
Other organisations represented at the gala were Kasetsart University, Thailand's Rice Department, Department of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture Extension, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, CP All, CP Foods, CP Fertilizer, CP Group, Betagro, Kubota, Ford, Mitrphol, Wang Kanai, Impact Thai Central Chemical Company.
Representing Thailand agriculture mass media were a number of publications, websites and agriculture reporters and editors, including from Kaset1009.com, Thai Rath, Channel 3, Channel 7, InsideToday.net, Daily News, KU Media and other members of AMMAT.
These, along with dozens more supporting and sponsoring organizations networked, exchanged information and pitched products and services before a nine-course traditional Chinese banquet was served.
As guests dined, addresses were given by the President of AMMAT, Dolmanas Kaje; Acting Vice President for Central Management, Dr. Damrong Sripraram, as well as Mr. Amnuay Patise, Advisor to Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives – providing guests much to ponder on in between live music, headlined by the the popular Thai folk rock band, Caravan.
