APSA’s Special Interest Group for Field Crops is excited to invite all APSA members to attend the “Rice and Corn Study Tour in Vietnam.” This special event is organized by the APSA SIG Field Crops Committee in collaboration with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Vietnam. The study tour will take place from September 29 to October 5, 2024.
This tour is designed to provide participants with new insights into rice and corn seed production, and offers the opportunity to exchange practices and knowledge with institutions and seed companies in Vietnam. The itinerary includes comprehensive programs spanning from south to north Vietnam, including visits to leading field crop and seed companies, live field demonstrations of mechanized direct seeding and harvesting technologies, and explorations of new technologies in corn (GM, silage, and more).
