Q&A Webinar on Thailand Import Conditions on Tomato, Pepper, Eggplant and Corn Seeds 25 February 2021 / 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (BKK Time)

The Department of Agriculture (DoA), Thailand on 13 January, 2021 announced new conditions for the import of tomato, pepper, eggplant and maize seeds for sowing in Thailand.  The new conditions will come into force 90 days after the announcement date, or from 13 April, 2021.

The conditions cover various seed specific requirements, conditions and procedures such as those related to certification, inspection procedures, phytosanitary measures (including species-specific pest lists and treatments) as well as seed testing sample size.

To help concerned importers prepare to comply with the new regulations in advance,  APSA, in coordination with the Thai Seed Trade Association (THASTA) and the DoA, Thailand, will be holding a Q&A Webinar, during which we will be able to address specific questions about the new Import Conditions.
