APSA’s Working Group of Integrated Vegetable Seed Companies (WIC) is pleased to announce the appointments of a new Chair and Co-Chair - Rahul Pagar and Sanjay Bisht, respectively.
The appointments follow Dr. Sumitra Kantrong (Assistant Vice President at
Chia Tai Co., Ltd.) completing her two-year tenure as WIC Chair.
The new Chair, Rahul Pagar, who works as Portfolio Lead – Asia (Marketing) with HM.CLAUSE India Pvt. Ltd, had served as WIC Co-Chair since the group formed in 2018.
The new Co-Chair, Mr Sanjay Bisht, works as Regional Director at Enza Zaden India Pvt.Ltd.
The Asia and Pacific Seed Association would like to take this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Sumitra for her great contributions as the Chair of WIC for the past two years. Her excellent support was unequivocally impressive.
Dr Sumitra’s exquisite and resounding performance contributed to the positive energy of the WIC and played an invaluable role in the success of WIC activities over the past two years. We look forward to working with her in other areas.
Dr. Sumitra will continue to serve APSA as an Executive Committee member and as the Chair of the Disease Resistance Terminology Working Group.
