Dr. Chua Kim Aik has been in the seed industry for more than 40 years. During this period, he was
posted to many countries as a country head in general management, also as regional head of seed
production in a multinational seed company. Prior to this he also worked in a small seeds enterprise
before starting his own seed company, involved in seed breeding, seed production and marketing.
With the experience and knowledge in the seed industry ranking from small, medium to multinational,
he believes he understands the needs of the members from small seed enterprises and multinationals.
With this exposure together with the experience as APSA EC member for one term, he strongly
believed he could help to contribute and develop the association in an attractive and meaningful
way to the members.
