Mr. Kornkamonpruk is a Senior Investment Officer at the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), where he is in charge of energy infrastructure projects. He joined BOI for the first time in 2003. For more than six years, Mr. Kornkamonpruk provided economic and analytical support to clients in the electronic, electrical appliances, and ICT industries; conducted research activities; and provided consulting services to investors interested in setting up a business in Thailand.
From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Kornkamonpruk served as Deputy Director at the Investment Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris, where he promoted Thailand as an FDI destination, and identified potential business partners. After returning to Thailand in early 2013, he was assigned to work under Investment Bureau 4 responsible for infrastructure and renewable energy projects, BOI head quarter. Currently, he’s been working at Investment service center where his main responsibility is to welcome foreign investors and attend all kind of seminars, conferences and events internationally and domestically to promote the investment in Thailand.
Mr. Kornkamonpruk holds an M.A. degree in economics from Western Michigan University, United States of America, and a B.A. degree in Marketing from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand.
