Dr. Ruixi Han is a senior DUS examiner in Development Center of Science and Technology, MARA. He commits himself to integrate molecular techniques into the traditional DUS tests aiming to increase accuracy and reduce costs. His current responsibilities include: 1) DUS examination of vegetable crops, cotton and soybean; 2) Developing molecular standards for variety identification; 3) Constructing database containing molecular data to manage the reference collection and select similar varieties for DUS tests.
