In the morning, our first sight-seeing will be Betel Nut Valley, or Binglanggu Hainan Li & Miao Nationalities Cultural Heritage Park. Betel Nut Valley is a living fossil of Hainan minority culture where Li culture has been completely preserved. There are a total of 20 national intangible cultural heritage sites located in Hainan Province, and Betel Nut Valley alone boasts 10 of them. The park dates back to 1998, graded as a national AAAAA level tourist attraction and covering an area of more than 333 hectares in total，and is a multiethnic, multicultural tourist scenic area incorporating sightseeing, cultural presentation, custom experience and entertainment. Its Intangible Cultural Heritage Village, Gan Za Li Village and rainforest Miao Village combine to make up an extravagant splendor together with a great live musical drama Charm of Li & Miao Culture. Visitors may indulge in nature of enchanting beauty, appreciating folk customs, ethnic melody, enjoying ethnic foods, Li and Miao styled lodging and cultural art.
After lunch, we will visit Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Rainforest Park. Located 25km southeast of Sanya City, the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Rainforest Park offers a variety of activities, including mountain hikes, relaxing retreats, health resorts, popular science education, and local culture experiences that can be enjoyed in the large forested area. There are luxury mountain villas dotting the jungle within the park where you can enjoy the fresh air and star filled sky while sleeping on a super soft bed. With lush forests, breathtaking views, and thrilling activities, the park is positioned as a world-class eco-tourism and eco-resort forest park.
The last stop is the Haitang Bay Duty Free Shopping Center, which is the world's largest duty-free mall. Located in Sanya's Haitang Bay, the shopping center features 70,000 sq. m. of duty-free space. Shoppers can choose from hundreds of international brands and shops, including Gucci, Burberry, Chanel, Prada, Rolex, Giorgio Armani, and more. Visitors above the age of 16 may buy a maximum of 100,000 RMB worth of duty-free goods on each year.
Participants will finish at the shopping centre before dinner time, and head back to Mangrove Tree Hotel by bus.
