The much-anticipated week has arrived—our Asian Seed Congress 2024 officially kicks off this coming Monday, December 2, in beautiful Sanya, Hainan! Excitement is building as we prepare to welcome you to an event packed with opportunities for networking, learning, and celebrating our industry's collective achievements.
To ensure you’re fully prepared, please take a moment to review the agenda and schedules, which have been shared with all delegates in recent weeks and are also available on the congress website. If you haven’t already, make sure to download the Congress app sent to your email. The app will be essential for staying updated in real time and for participating in e-voting during our Annual General Meeting on December 5.
This Congress would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the APSA Secretariat and our co-organizer, the China National Seed Trade Association, as well as the unwavering support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Hainan Province, Sanya City, and Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. We are deeply grateful for their contributions in bringing this event to life.

THE 2024 ASIAN SEED CONGRESS IS FINALLY HERE!
The 2024 Asian Seed Congress will be held at the Mangrove Tree Resort Convention Center in Sanya, Hainan, China from the 2nd to the 6th of December 2024, and is co-hosted by the China National Seed Trade Association (CNSTA).We are proud and excited to announce that we have reached an incredible milestone of over 1,500 registered delegates!

ASC 2024 TRAVEL GUIDE

ASC 2024 SANYA CITY SERVICES:
To help all congress delegates upon their arrival to China, Sanya City has arranged for Volunteers Service Desks to be stationed at key transportation hubs, including Sanya Phoenix International Airport, Haikou Meilan Airport, and Sanya High-speed Railway Station. Sanya City is also offering FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE from Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Sanya High-speed Railway Station from November 29 – December 2. ASC 2024 TECHNICAL SESSIONS
This year, APSA is celebrating its 30th year anniversary, and the theme of the congress is “Riding the Wave of Growth in the Asia Pacific.” Our Technical Sessions are presented under the sub-themes “Our Business Landscape Today and Tomorrow”, “Accelerating and Safeguarding Innovation”, and “Moving Quality Seeds Across Borders”. There will also be special sessions including the “Investment Opportunities in China Forum,” “30th Anniversary Vision-Making Forum,” and the new “ASC InnoTech Showcase”. ASC 2024 SOCIAL EVENTS
Inaugural Ceremony- We officially kick off Congress week on Monday, 2 December with the Inaugural Ceremony, a tradition and celebration not to be missed! This opening event will feature inspiring remarks from distinguished dignitaries, including representatives from the local government, APSA, and CNSTA, setting the tone for a week of meaningful discussions and connections. Enjoy captivating Chinese cultural performances and join us as we reveal this year’s APSA awardees, recognized for their contributions to the national and regional seed industry, along with the announcement of three newly nominated Honorary Lifetime Members - visionaries whose dedication has been instrumental in APSA’s journey over the past 30 years. Ladies’ Luncheon - Calling all lady ASC2024 Sanya delegates! Don’t miss this year’s Ladies' Luncheon, on Tuesday, 3 December, a unique space to connect, share insights, and empower one another in the industry. This is your chance to strengthen your leadership journey alongside other women delegates. Welcome Cocktail Party - Anticipation for the Asian Seed Congress2024 is growing by the day, as we warmly invite all delegates to join the fun for our Welcome Cocktail Party on the evening of December 3.
