APSA, Kasetsart University enthusiastic about future collaboration

BANGKOK: Executives from Kasetsart University and APSA have mutually expressed enthusiasm to collaborate on breeding research and capacity-building activities and events in Thailand. On May 5 at the Golden Jubilee Building of Kasetsart University's Bangkhen Campus in Bangkok, APSA Executive Director Heidi Gallant met with KU Acting President and Assistant Professor, Dr. Chongrank Wachrinra, along with KU Acting Assistant to the President,  Dr. Buncha Chinnasri. The meeting follows APSA and KU successfully staging in February this year the 2nd Asian Solanaceous Round Table (ASRT 2) event, which brought together tomato, pepper and eggplant breeders and scientists from around the world to exchange and discuss the latest data, research and developments in Solanaceous breeding. Moving forward, APSA is exciting to work with KU to plan similar events, in addition to exchanging knowledge, skills and human resources.
