WHAT METHOD GLOBAL DO
Method Global can arrange complete freight to and from New Zealand for all exhibitors regardless of the size, by offering courier, air, and sea services to Christchurch. On arrival Method will arrange the necessary clearance requirements whether that is for product remaining in New Zealand as give aways or goods temporary imported for the event.
Method Global will then consolidate and hold products and arrange delivery to the event as required for each exhibitor, store empty packaging during the show and then collection after the event before arranging to complete the export formalities and returning the goods to the next destination.
DEADLINES
Based on the event dates of the 20-24th November would suggest we work on the following

PAPERWORK
Would suggest that where possible goods of any reasonable value that will be returned after the event are moved to New Zealand under a Carnet to ensure a speedy clearance process.
All goods that are being returned to origin after the event should be on a separate invoice/packing list from goods that are give aways or will remain in New Zealand after the event.
All MAWB and Ocean Bills should be consigned to Method Global Logistics as a notify party and/or consignee to ensure they are released direct to us.

There are strict restrictions through MPI for the importation of these products. Please provide Method Global with as much information re the product names, presentation, quantities, and purpose as soon as possible to work through the special requirements.

SEED/FRUIT IMPORTS
What you need to know
- Scientific Name of all seed
- Comply with IHS requirements – check approval lists prior to sending
- Arrange appropriate certification.
- Treatments and post entry quarantine arranged where necessary.
PASSENGER CARRYING GOODS
It is possible to bring goods with you on your flight. NZ Customs have advised to mention that they no longer offer a clearance service on arrival so if you want to do this, please provide the following details 5 days before your flight and we will clear the goods and give you a copy of the clearance to bring with you and present at NZ Customs on arrival.
Please provide:
- Full name of passenger
- Flight number and arrival date
- List of all goods and a commercial value
- Details of what the goods are and whether they are being returned or staying in NZ.
