When traveling to New Zealand, you must hold a valid passport and the right visa if you wish for a trouble-free entry into the country. Your passport has to be valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure date, and if required, have a valid visa.

Invitation Letter for Visa Application

You do not need a visa to visit New Zealand if you are passport holder of a country which has a visa waiver agreement with New Zealand. These countries & territories include:

New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA)

If you are from a visa waiver country you must hold an NZeTA before you can enter the country.

Most NZeTA requests are processed within 72 hours. Many requests are processed more quickly but some may take longer.
